Kumar is working as a Director and Site Leader for the product development activities in Consumer Lifestyle and Lighting Sector at Philips Innovation Campus, Bangalore

He has been with Philips for 10years now. Prior to Philips he worked at BPL-Sanyo for 10years in the Consumer Electronics – Audio division, Bangalore

He is a graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering from BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore

Kumar has been involved closely in the growth and evolution of the Consumer Electronics products since 1990 and the role & contribution of embedded systems in this space
