Ashok Bakthavathsalam is a B.E. in Computer Science from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore and M.S. in Computer Engineering from the prestigious Syracuse University, New York. As the Founder & Director of KG Information Systems Private Limited, he has been responsible for KGISL's growth by playing a key role in both leadership and management of the company. In his career, he has held designations like Managing Director, K.G. Information Systems Private Limited, Coimbatore, Director, Coimbatore Hi-tech Infrastructure Private Limited, Coimbatore, Managing Trustee, KGISL Trust, Coimbatore, CEO, K.G. Hospital & Post Graduate Medical Institute, Coimbatore. He was instrumental is establishing KGISL Trust, which has sponsored three academic institutions which excel in their ability to Earn-while-you-learn” opportunities making its students industry ready. Ashok is also the Member of Task Force on Information Technology, Government of Tamil Nadu; Governing Council Member, Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Coimbatore; Convenor – Information, Communication & Technology (ICT) Panel, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Coimbatore Zone.

Mr Jayanthra has graduated in engineering from the PSG College of Technology. From a modest beginning 3 engineers, ANGLER has now grown under his able leadership to 175+ professionals with subsidiary companies in 5 countries, providing cutting-edge solutions to both corporate clients and innovative technology companies in both India and abroad. ANGLER also provides solutions in the domains of E-Commerce, CRM, CMS, SmartCard & Biometric Solutions, E-Learning and Mobile applications. He was listed among the “101 successful entrepreneurs” by CII Southern Region in 2008 and is the Learning Chair of Young Indians (Coimbatore Chapter) 2008-09. He is an avid reader of books on Fiction, Technology & Entrepreneurship.

Ranga Shetty is Senior Director and Head of “Participation Platforms” Center of Excellence at Yahoo! He has over 20 years of work experience at companies ranging from large multinationals like Hewlett Packard and Cabletron Systems to entrepreneurial startups like Zeitnet Inc. and Cygsoft Inc. He setup Intuit’s India Development center prior to joining Yahoo! His academic background includes a Master's degree in Engineering from Rensselaer and a Master's degree in Management Science from Stanford. Ranga loves interacting with students and has served as guest faculty and as member of Board of Studies at engineering and management schools in Pune, India.

Chaitanya Nadkarny is an IT professional with 23 years of industry experience. He is a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai. He joined ThoughtWorks in Bangalore in 2002 as a project manager and subsequently went on to head its offshore sales and business development activity. In his current assignment, he heads the Pune operations of ThoughtWorks with a mandate to make ThoughtWorks home for the best knowledge workers in India. During his career, Chaitanya has been a technology consultant, a domain expert in transportation and logistics, a general manager for development centres, an evangelist having spoken and written on Agile methods of software development. Chaitanya is an elected Senior Member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).

Mr Michael is currently serving as a Consultant IT Architect of Carborundum Universal Limited, a part of the Murugappa Group forging I.T. and Business to drive profits. He was earlier the GM - IT heading the IT function from 1995-2008 for the same company. He is responsible for the IT Policy and its implementation and also responsible for the ICT Infrastructure Projects. He has been implementing various applications such as ERP, CRM, SCM, APS, etc. and working on shifts to web based usage and collaborative working. As an Alumnus of IIT Madras both Bachelors and Masters he worked in EID Parry Electronics Division prior to taking over the IT function of Carborundum Universal Limited. He also has worked with Systronics, ATIRA and ORG Systems in various capacities. He is currently working for a Ph.D. in Knowledge Management in IIT Madras and published papers and has given seminars on the subject.

Mr Sundaram is presently the ICT Manager of KG Information Systems Private Limited and has nearly 20 years of experience in the IT industry. He has worked with major MNCs like Wipro, Tata Elxsi and Siemens. He has implemented several successful open source projects at the KG Group and has brought about significant cost savings. He has been very innovative in his ideas and initiatives. He has involved himself with the academics to bring up new open source talent, a very strong focus in serving Coimbatore-based institutions and industries.

Mr Deepak Kumar is a B Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur. He is the Cofounder and CTO of Srishti Software Applications Private Limited since 1997. He has architected more than 25 large-scale projects till date. Few of his contributions as Chief Architect includes projects with Citibank, Deutsche Bank, Sony, British American Tobacco, ISABEL Healthcare, Tata group, Fidelity Investment India etc. He has also architected Srishti’s Healthcare suite product ‘PARAS’ and Media product ‘KREATIO’ He was awarded “Best Project” for his research in the area of medial imaging. He is a Gold Medalist in National Physics Olympiad. He is an active member and advocate of Osirix.

Sathya Venkatraman is a post graduate in Software Systems from BITS Pilani and works for IBM - Global Technology Solutions as Managing Consultant - IT Architecture and Strategy services. His primary area of focus is on IT Infrastructure Consulting helping customers build an IT strategy & roadmap, building IT Master plans, consulting on IT Service Management, IT Optimization and the business – IT alignment. He has 20+ years of extensive experience and in the Infrastructure side; he has been involved in many large-scale projects of IT Management consulting ( ITIL/ ISO20000/ ITSM), architected Infrastructure Transformation, Storage & Server consolidation strategies, ILM, data migration solutions, Disaster recovery and Business continuity solutions for mission critical IT environments in BFSI, Telco, Manufacturing, Engineering and Software Industry

Joseph Sundar is Business Manager - South at Adobe India and is responsible for business across south India for Business Productivity Business Unit which comprises of Acrobat, Acrobat Connect, Flex & LiveCycle Enterprise Solutions.

Mr Rajan Kanagasabai is the Vice President of Satyam Computer Services Limited. His current responsibilities include owning all forms of recruitments for Satyam which includes E-School, B-School, Vendor Channels, Leadership hires etc. Prior to this, he was the Global Sales Head of the Infrastructure Management Services function of Satyam, which he was part of growing to over 100 Million dollars from scratch over a 6 year stint. He holds an overall experience of over 20 years in the IT Industry, with stints at Aurelec Computers, Digital Equipment Corporation and currently with Satyam continuing his 11th year. He has handled Sales, Presales and Account Management functions with global Fortune 500 companies as part of Satyam. As an Alumni of PSG Coimbatore, he represents Satyam at associations and trade bodies like CII, NASSCOM etc. He is the Member of the curriculum development panel - ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu, member of the CII board on the E-Governance amongst other positions. He has spoken at numerous conferences and institutions on a wide range of topics, and has presented papers at Architecture conferences.

Dr Ganesh Devaraj holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Particle Physics and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He did his bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. Dr Ganesh Devaraj founded Soliton Technologies in 1998, and has since established the company as the leader in India in the business areas in which it operates – ‘Test & Measurement Automation Software’ and ‘Machine Vision Products’. In 2004, Soliton started a Products Division and became the first company in India to design and manufacture Machine Vision Cameras and Smart Cameras. Innovation has been at the heart of all that Soliton has attempted, and over the years, Soliton has received over 25 technology awards for its innovative work, and has built an outstanding reputation for integrity and customer satisfaction. In 2008, Dr Devaraj was profiled as one of the ‘101 Successful Entrepreneurs of Tamil Nadu’ by the Confederation of Indian Industry. He also serves on the Board of Directors of ELGI Equipments Ltd and on the Board of Trustees of the PSG & Sons Charities. Before founding Soliton, he worked as a Project Scientist at V I Engineering; a leading Virtual Instrumentation based Automation Company in Michigan, USA.

Mr A K Balasubramanian is a B E in Mechanical Engineering from CIT, Coimbatore and M Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Bombay. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer of CSM Software Private Limited. He joined the organisation in 1996. He has organized & executed several training courses for NASTRAN & STAR-CD. His experience in the prestigious Naval Science & Technological Lab, (Defense Research & Development Organization) Vishakapatnam spans for 12 years in the Mechanical & Marine Engineering disciplines which pertains to ship and underwater structures and equipments. His areas of interest are Structural Dynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Parallel Computing.

Mr Zaheer holds a PGDBM in Marketing from NMiMS, Mumbai and a B.E. degree in I.T. from the prestigious Sardar Patel University. He is currently working as a Curriculum Consultant and Service Science Advocate in the IBM University Relations team. He has more than 5 years of rich and varied experiences in ecosystem development for new technologies and relationship marketing. He has also worked at IBM as a Business Advisor to the Software Group Sales unit. He also worked with Microsoft and Group M, WPP Media before IBM. He is a core member of IBM Worldwide SSME Forum, the TPSA and the SRII. He was co-participant for the whitepaper on: “Succeeding Through Service Innovation” - A service perspective for education, research, business and government, based on Cambridge University Service Science Management & Engineering Symposium.
