Mr C N Srivatsan, Chairman, Astral Consulting Ltd

Mr C N Srivatsan is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with over 25 years of consulting experience in handling Indian and overseas assignments. Having commenced his professional career in 1982 as a Chartered Accountant handling multi billion companies’ accounts in India, he later founded Astral Consulting Ltd., in the year 1992.

His consulting experience is in the field of Information Technology, Strategy Development, Business Process Reengineering, Systems and Operations audits, Cost control and cost reduction.

He is the Founder President of ISACA, USA, Coimbatore chapter. He was a member of Information Technology Control Practices Committee of ISACA for a period of 5 years from 1999 to 2005. He is also one of the expert Developers and Reviewers for COBIT framework of IT Governance Institute. He was also the co- opted member of the Information Technology Committee of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in the year 2001-02, responsible for developing the course curriculum for the ISA course.

Mr Srivatsan has addressed innumerable seminars in India and abroad and is a regular faculty for training corporate heads in Business Strategies, Internal Auditing, Risk Assessment, and Risk Management.

Further Mr Srivatsan is associated with various listed companies as an Independent Director and as Chairman of the Audit Committee. He holds honorary positions in educational and charitable institutions. He is also the member of the Zonal Council of CII, Coimbatore.
